Shift After Dark
A downloadable game for Windows
Shift After Dark
You just got hired for the night shift at a local store. Your job is pretty straightforward - clock in, complete your tasks, and clock out. Clean up trash, handle dishes, prep food, mop floors. Basic stuff.
Except things aren't really that simple.
Each shift gets progressively stranger. At first it's just small things that feel off. But as the nights go on, you'll start to realize you're not alone in the building. And whatever is with you doesn't want you to finish your shift.
**About the game:**
This is a short first-person horror game I made in Unity. You play through 4 different shifts, each one ramping up the tension. The goal is simple - do your assigned tasks and try to survive until morning. But there's a customer that doesn't understand the concept of closing time, and if they catch you, it's game over.
I tried to make it feel like an actual late-night job where you're constantly on edge. You know that feeling when you're alone in a building at 3am and every sound makes you paranoid? That's what I was going for.
**Features:**
- 4 shifts to complete
- Task-based gameplay
- Jumpscares and atmospheric horror
The whole game takes about 20-30 minutes to beat if you don't die. Wear headphones for the full experience.
---
**Controls:**
- WASD to move
- Mouse to look around
- E to interact with objects
- ESC to pause
**Warning:** Contains jumpscares and chase sequences.
---
This is my first horror game so feedback is appreciated. Hope you enjoy (or get scared, either works).
